This is a great unique looking watch. I will admit that it would take a little time to figure out how to tell time on the watch, but I think it would be worth it. Price wise, its not too bad at $180. Here's a little bit about it:

Bright enough to get you noticed but subtle enough to keep you looking cool, the new Kisai Rogue SR2 LCD watch presents the time through a circle of connecting blocks.

An 'Always On' Colored LCD Watch With Bright LED Backlighting

With an ever present LCD display in a choice of four colors, the time can be read at a glance but can also be illuminated with bright LEDs at the touch of a button. This exciting function is especially effective at night time.

The slim, curved case design is complemented by a solid stainless steel strap which can be adjusted easily to fit your wrist and the watch also features an alarm mode.

Reading the time on Kisai Rogue SR2 is simple but creates a sense of mystique to the uninformed.
A Black Stainless Steel Watch Design With Time & Alarm Function

The inner ring of blocks represents hours, the gap in the ring shows the current hour, as on a clock face. The ring of large blocks represents approximate minutes, the position of the gap shows the current approximate minutes. The outer ring of small dots represents exact minutes, every fifth dot being slightly smaller to distinguish five minute groups. Just look where the gaps are!

Available in green, blue, red or orange, Kisai Rogue SR2 is a limited edition LCD wrist watch design that would be a great fashion accessory whether at a business meeting or at a bar with friends.

You can grab one over at the Tokyo Flash site HERE.

This is made more for hikers and climbers, but it's still a cool watch. Here's the details:

Premium sports watch for urban and mountain life

Suunto Elementum Terra combines decades of outdoors experience with a lifetime in precision craftsmanship, making it a survival tool no real adventurer can do without. Equipped with the essentials – altimeter for altitude measurement, barometer for easy prediction of weather changes and compass for navigation – the Terra provides essential information that makes for both urban and outdoor exploration with the utmost confidence.

	Construction
The design of Elementum Terra is based on physical robustness with intelligent navigation ensuring it will perform solidly, regardless of conditions. Corrosion-resistant AISI 316L stainless steel case and buttons; sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating; intelligent knob positioning for simplicity in scrolling; high-quality LCD display with metallic display graphics; water resistance to 100 m.

	Great altitude
Whether hiking, skiing, snowboarding or in an office elevator, the altimeter function in Elementum Terra records relevant information about one’s activity. The recordings can be stored as altitude logs that capture the maximum altitude reached throughout the duration of the trip. Furthermore, the logs show the overall cumulative ascent and descent of the given expedition.

	Very encompassing
At the press of a button, the Terra transforms into an enhanced, 3D compass. As the watch moves on a wrist, the tilt compensation stabilizes the readings, providing the most accurate result and casting out unfounded presumptions.

The watch runs in the $900+ range, and you can grab one multiple places around the Internet.

The same spirit but a new look. Breitling has entirely redesigned its Colt model, a symbol of sturdiness, reliability and performance. A sculptural model carved in steel, the new Colt turns heads with its original styling clearly built for action, achievements and thrills. With its solid construction and its water resistance to 300 meters (1,000 ft) or 500 meters (1,650 ft), it establishes itself as an exceptionally sporty model, a champion and natural frontrunner. Its originality begins with the bezel featuring a taut, sophisticated shape and stamped numerals, and continues with the case echoing the same outline. The dials are adorned with new rounded numerals exclusively designed for this model, with rhythmical motifs and with a play on colors. The steel bracelet reinforces the unique character of this fresh, youthful and dynamic design, while ensuring optimal comfort and sturdiness.

Available in three versions endowed with strong and distinctive characters, including a chronograph and a ladies’ watch, the new Colt is equipped with SuperQuartz™ movements that are chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), like all Breitling movements.

This might be one of the best watches I've seen in a while. Though of course that means it's $6,000 USD.

The coolest thing about this watch is the luminescent elements on hands, dial and external rotating bezel. Very cool. Here's the details:

The Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Galapagos Islands makes a statement about a partnership for the environment which IWC Schaffhausen has entered into with the Galapagos-based Charles Darwin Foundation. For 50 years now, the Foundation has been making visitors aware of the archipelago’s uniqueness and providing them with guidelines to ecologically sound behaviour. At the same time, it keeps watch to ensure that the waters are not plundered and that the animals do not fall victim to poachers or predators imported from elsewhere. IWC supports the work of the Foundation with a sizeable contribution generated by proceeds from the sale of the Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Galapagos Islands. This Aquatimer is the result of an evolution in watchmaking technology. The stainless-steel case undergoes a complex vulcanization process that leaves it with a matte-black rubber coating. This makes the watch, which is pressure-resistant to 12 bar, a joy to see and feel: as black as the lava on the volcanic islands and as white as the mist in which they are often shrouded.

You can read more about it HERE.

Yet another great watch that's probably way out of my price range. Usually I'm not a fan of large numbers around the dial, but I think it works on this watch. Here's the details:

The case of the new, more masculine P´6620 Dashboard now comes with a diameter of 44 mm. Every single element of the more purist face with Arabic numerals (without honeycomb pattern) is designed to guarantee a clear and unmistakable legibility of time, date and stopped time. The P´6620 Dashboard is equipped with the calibre ETA Valjoux 7753 sporting an energy-optimised rotor in the design of a Porsche sports car wheel.

No idea on price, but if you'd like to see some pictures of it, you can hit the Porsche-Design site HERE.

Love the look of the watch, which of course means that's it's way too expensive in the $15,000 range. Here's some of the details:

Engineered for Exploration. This bold new creation by fourth-generation watchmaker Gérald Clerc expresses a totally new vision of fine watchmaking. Its sleek, sophisticated & ultra-complex patented case, composed of more than 75 elements, called for a whole new construction process and is distinguished by the brand's signature shape: a perfect square combined with a perfect circle.49.6mm in diameter, it is fitted with self-adjusting lugs ensuring optimal comfort on the wrist. This prestigious mechanical diving instrument is equipped with an automatic helium escapement valve ensuring water resistance to 1000 metres. Its rotating bezel is activated using a special secure crown and thus avoiding any risk of accidental deregulation when diving. The exclusive automatic complication movement drives the hours, minutes, seconds and the power-reserve display, as well as a large date or dual time-zone display, depending on the watch model. The Hydroscaph is available on a vulcanised rubber or hornback crocodile strap or on a titanium bracelet with rubber moulding, all secured by folding clasps. Hand-crafted in Switzerland 3 year international warranty.

You can read more about it HERE.

MOVEMENT: Mechanical self-winding movement

DESCRIPTION: Ø 46mm. Steel PVD-coated steel case with integrated back, composed of spare parts from Apollo 11. Grainy-textured stellar-patterned back with medallion in MOON SILVER representing the moon. Black rubber with grainy-textured interior of stellar-patterned strap.

There's only 1,969 pieces that will be made, which was a nice touch, and I'm sure they're going to go for a pretty penny. Though I'
m not sure of the actual price. I'll put up an update if I track it down.

A Blog To Read is giving away the watch shown above. It's a nice looking piece, and pretty simple to enter. Here's the details:

From a Dubai native comes Swisstek – an avant garde collection of watches for men and women. In the Middle East timepieces like this are quite popular – with geometric angles and bright colors. This ref. SK18012G watch is 44mm wide in steel (there is a gold version). Inside the watch is a Swiss quartz movement (ISA 8137) with the time, alarm, day, date, GMT hand, and and power reserve indicator for the battery. Swisstek has further limited this watch to just 100 pieces. Price retails at $575.
