Ultimate Beverages Launches New Hard Rock Vodka

Yet another one that I need to track down. I really need to actually make a list of these, and start working my way through them. Here's the press release:

BOCA RATON, Fla. (September 1, 2011) – Boca Raton, Fla.-based Ultimate Beverages has licensed the Hard Rock brand from Hard Rock Spirits, LLC and has unveiled a new premium vodka that will redefine the industry.  Hard Rock Vodka is now available in retail locations, bars and restaurants throughout Florida.

“Hard Rock is one of the most recognizable global brands,” said Serge Abecassis, chairman and CEO of Ultimate Beverages. “We look forward to making a big splash with our fantastic new Hard Rock Vodka throughout Florida and beyond.”

Hard Rock Vodka is a premium, world class vodka imported from England. The vodka is distilled from the highest quality grain and filtered six times for exceptional smoothness and taste.

Designed to reflect the spirit of the Hard Rock brand, the bottle is destined to become an icon.  The Hard Rock Vodka bottle is instantly recognizable with an elaborate etched glass image of an intricately designed guitar representing the brand’s rock ‘n’ roll heritage.

“We are rocking the vodka world with the introduction of the most relevant brand to be released in recent history,” added Abecassis.

Hard Rock Vodka is bottled by LiDestri Spirits of Rochester, New York and distributed by Southern Wine & Spirits. Hard Rock Vodka will soon be available nationally. Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion

As you may or may not know, I'm not a huge fan of flavored Vodka. It's not that it's bad at all, just not my thing. I'm also not a huge fan of grapefruit, but if you are, this is the vodka you need to get. Here's why:

Louisville, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2010) –  It appears 2010 is the year of Finlandia® Grapefruit Fusion. On the heels of a double gold medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion was named the 2010 Master for the Flavoured Vodka category in Vodka Masters contest, hosted by the Spirit Business. This is the second year in a row that Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion has claimed the Master award in this contest.

“What an incredible run for Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion,” said Neil Punwani, managing director for Finlandia Vodka. “Since its introduction in 2006, Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion has set the standard in the flavoured vodka category. It has quickly become one of our best selling flavours around the world because it is the perfect blend of all-natural grapefruit flavour married with Finlandia Vodka.”

With 40 years of history as one of the first imported premium vodkas, Finlandia Vodka has grown into a global leader in the premium and flavoured vodka category and is ranked among the most powerful vodka brands. Finlandia Vodka was one of the first premium vodkas to introduce flavors from nature in 1994 with the launch of Cranberry Fusion and since then has introduced more all-natural flavors to the portfolio: Finlandia Lime Fusion (1999), Finlandia Mango Fusion (2004), Finlandia Redberry (2004), Finlandia Wild Berries Fusion (2005), Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion (2006), Finlandia Tangerine (2009), and Finlandia Blackcurrant Fusion (2009).

“We believe our flavours taste the best because we start with such a pristine vodka, which makes it easier to blend nature’s freshest and finest fruit flavours,” he said. “Because with flavors, you should not be overwhelmed by the spirit, but instead, be able to taste the essence of the fruit in the bottle. Tasting is believing though. Try a bottle of Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion and see for yourself.”
