Dmdmetal Rings

The maker only has three different kinds of rings for sale, but they caught my eye.

There's not a lot of information at the site, which is a shame. I'd like to know a lot more about them.

What I can tell you is that the run between $80 and $90, and are handmade. He also sells six different kinds of earings if you might be interested to get someone a unique gift.

Hopefully he gets a lot more sales for these, and adds some more designs sometime soon.

You can check them out, and buy one, HERE.

Olivia Munn’s National Pie Week Petition

If you're a fan of Attack of the Show, or even if you're not, you should know who Olivia Munn is. Part goofball you can have fun with, part sexy girl you want to go home with.

Well, it seems Olivia loves pie, and is trying to get the last week of January named National Pie Week. As an incentive, she said that if her online petition received 10,000 signatures by the end of this week, she would jump into a giant pie.

The ten grand mark was hit almost in the first day, so they upped the ante a bit. If they received 25,000 signatures, Olivia would jump into the pie in a french maid outfit. That was enough to get me to sign it. However…

It's only Wednesday and they've already received over the 25k signatures for that. Well, the same day that they made the 25k announcement, they went a little crazy, and said that if they receive 50,000 signatures, she would nose die into the giant pie in a super sexy french maid outfit. The current plan is that the sexy outfit is pretty much a bra and miniskirt.

I thought I would help out, and see if I could send some signatures their way. Not only is it for a good cause (who doesn't like pie?) but the outfit and pie jump will be well worth it.

You can catch a video of their Wednesday show HERE where they talk about it.

More importantly, you can go and sign Olivia Munn's petition HERE.

Power to the pie.

A Cool Deck

This really isn't a deck of cards that you'd actually use, especially if there's any kind of drinking involved, but it's a pretty cool deck none the less. I'll let the site explain it:

I hear you asking, "What is this I see before me? Playing cards, or 54 little pieces of art?"

Well, it's both!

This absolutely desirable deck was lovingly created by 36 artists of the Black Rock Collective.

A rather crass yet brilliant Australian member had the idea of doing a card deck – a perfect medium to utilise the BRC's mish mash of styles and techniques. One of the New Zealand members ran with this idea (such is the way down there in the Antipodes) and 'by crikey', here it is.

The result of hours of doodling, squabbling, and sanding every card by hand has produced this diverse and beautiful card deck. It feels amazing, and deserves to be fondled as much as possible.

We hope you enjoy it.

The deck is out of stock at the moment, but you can sign up to have them email you when it's available again. At $20, it's pretty expensive for a single deck, but it's not outrageous. You can ject it out at the Block Rock Collective site HERE.

Cool Christmas Tree

I realize that Christmas is over, and I bet that a lot of are actually happy about that. I know I am.

Regardless, I felt that this deserved some praise. The is a tree made out of  Grolsch beer bottles. Not only was it a great idea, but I bet they put in some pretty solid evenings of drinking to empty that many bottles. Even if they emptied them all at one good party, still pretty cool.

I'd like my goal this year to have a tree like this made of Tanqueray No. 10 bottles, but that's a lot of martinis.

You can catch a bigger picture of the tree over at the Unbound Editionsite HERE.

The Confederate Limited-Edition Fighter Motorcycle

This is a pretty unique looking bike. It's being sold exclusively by Neiman Marcus, and here's what they have to say about it:

There's the startling, dare we say sexy, design that fuses raw power with crisp simplicity. It's an evolution of the machine, at once taken back down to its core elements while being reinvented and re-engineered for optimal performance. It's our street-legal sci-fi dream come to life, in the form of the limited-edition Fighter Motorcycle. Ours exclusively courtesy of Confederate Motor Company®, the first ever Fighter packs 190 mph of performance into its cutting edge carbon fiber, titanium, and aluminum chassis. There's the 64" wheelbase, 27"H seat, integrated braking system, lots of high-tech bells and whistles, and custom NM edition features. But, honestly, ride it once and you'll be too jacked up on adrenaline to remember all the details.

According to the Neiman Marcus, there will only be 45 of them made, and each costs $110,000. You can hit the Neiman Marcus site HERE for more info, or if you want more of the raw stats on the bike, you can hit the Confederate Motor Company HERE to read all about it.

A.H. Hirsch Reserve Limited Edition Bourbon

Before it closed in 1988, Michter's in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania, was the oldest licensed distillery in America. When the distillery closed, Adolph Hirsch bought up Michter's' cask aged reserves of its 16-year-old pot-stilled sour mash bourbon and stored them in steel vats for preservation. Distilled in 1974 and labeled as A.H. Hirsch Reserve, what's left of the stock is now owned by importer Henry Preiss, who plans to sell it off in a final edition of 1,000 bottles.

Each one will come numbered in a special mahogany humidor with a booklet on Michter's' history, two hand-blown glasses and a custom heavy metal tasting cork from France, and is expected to sell for $1,000 – $1,500 when it becomes available sometime this fall.

You can read more about the history and bourbon at the AH Hirsch site HERE

The Döttling Cigar Safe

The company Dottling is creating high quality safes that are customized to your needs. the safes come in three different types, the Legends series that uses antique safes, The Bel-Air line that look like steamer trunks, and The Chameleon line which are more functional than anything else, and are made to fit into small spaces.

The safe shown here, and the reason it caught my eye, was made into a humidor. The humidor had two humidification systems that are fully crafted into the safe, an illuminated console cover controlled by a remote that openes up to reveal a second secret humidor. The safe itself was built in Amsterdam in the late 19th century, featured a high-gloss black piano finish, and a curved door with the interior comprised of Spanish cedar.

No real word on the cost of the safe, but I'm guessing this is one of those that if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it. You can see more about the safes of the Dottling site HERE.

Own A T-Rex Skeleton

I'm not exactly sure what you would do with this, but if you had the money to drop on it, and a big enough space to put it, you're probably going to be the only person on the block to have one.

The Tyrannosaurus rex STAN Skeleton is a real Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil replica. STAN is the largest, most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex ever found, and stands nearly 40 feet long and 12 feet high at the hips. The strong, steel support structure is hidden within the bones, allowing the eye to follow the in-motion appearance of this impressive, crowd-pleasing fossil skeleton replica. Each STAN T. rex skeleton is constructed according to your creative needs, whether you want your skeleton walking, stalking, attacking, running, jumping or looking your visitors right in the eye!

The replica costs $100,000, and you can buy one Black Hills Institute of Geological Research HERE

Cultural Treasures- Around the World by Private Jet

If you're looking for a unique trip, and have a good deal of time and money to spend, this would be an amazing way to see the world.

Abercrombie & Kent have created several dream vacations that will take you around the world by private jet. The Cultural Treasures trip begins on October 10th, 2008 in Los Angles, and ends on November 3rd in Boston Massachusetts. In-between those two dates, you visit Tahiti,  Australia, Myanmar, India, Dubai, Jordan, Italy, Prague, and St. Petersburg.

During the trip, you'll fly in a private Boeing 757-200 ER aircraft that has been reconfigured to accommodate just 50 passengers in VIP seats, have multilingual tour escorts, stay in the best accommodations, and get privileged access to exclusive locations, unique attractions and special celebrations not available to most visitors.

This might be a once in a lifetime trip, and it of course doesn't come cheap. The trip is $98,900 per person, but does include pretty much everything you're going to be doing on the trip. If this one doesn't interest you however, there's three other private trips, such as the one that will take you around the world, one for the nine wonders, and an Africa trip.

You can check out this one, and all of the others, at the Abercrombie & Kent site HERE.
