This would be an incredibly amazing car to own. I'll be interested to see how much it actually goes for, but my guess is several million at least. Especially since it's now a one of a kind car, since it has all of the Bond gadgets intact. Here's some of the details:

1964 ASTON MARTIN DB5 ‘THE REAL JAMES BOND MOVIE CAR’

RM Auctions is proud to represent the one of only two – and only known remaining – original 007 Aston Martin DB5 movie car at its October 27, 2010 'Automobiles of London' auction at Battersea Evolution, London, UK.

Chassis: DB5/1486/R; Engine: 400/1469/V; Original UK Reg: FMP 7B

FMP 7B Technical Details & Notes

	# Silver Birch exterior paint; Dark Grey leather interior

	# Engine: 3,995 cc/ Power: 282 bhp (210 kW) at 5500 rpm/ Torque: 288 lb·ft (390 N·m) at 3850 rpm/ Top Speed: 145 mph (233 km/h)/ 0–60 mph (97 km/h) Acceleration: 7.1 s (all figures quoted are for a ‘standard’ car without gadgets)

	# As the ‘Road Car’ driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger, FMP 7B was fitted with one of the first Vantage engine of any DB5, however, it displays triple SU carbs rather than Webers

	# For Thunderball, FMP 7B was fitted with the full complement of famous Bond ‘gadgets’ – by the Factory – that are seen onscreen, including machine guns, bullet-proof shield, revolving number plates, tracking device, removable roof panel, oil slick sprayer, nail spreader and smoke screen – all controlled from factory installed toggles and switches hidden in the center arm-rest

FMP 7B and its movie history

	# Two Aston Martin DB5s were used on screen for the production of the timeless 1960’s James Bond classics, Goldfinger and Thunderball. One of those two cars was reported stolen in 1997 and is believed to have been destroyed. The other is FMP 7B

	# Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 and its gadgets were the brainchild of Oscar-award-winning special effects expert John Stears, also of Star Wars and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang fame

	# FMP 7B was the 'Road Car' used in Goldfinger . Featured in various locations and intended for the fast driving sequences, FMP 7B was given substantial screen time, most notably the scenes at the Stoke Park Club and, even more recognizably, when Bond is spying on Mr. Goldfinger from the picturesque Furka Pass in Switzerland

	# For Thunderball, FMP 7B was to have most of the screen time, so it was fitted with the full complement of gadgets which it carries to this day

	# FMP 7B, the only remaining Bond DB5 movie car in existence, is extremely original. Its specification has not changed since its appearance in Thunderball and virtually all its distinctive gadgets remain intact – a remarkable discovery

It has a range of 31.5 miles, at a maximum speed of 63mph. You can get it up to a height of 8000ft, and is considered an ultralight, so you don't need a pilot's license.

The jetpack has a natural degree of stability. In fact the aircraft is so stable, that one of the confidence building exercises trainee pilots try is to “let go” of the controls and fly “hands free”. When they do this the aircraft stops and maintains a stable hover.

The Martin Jetpack is also equipped with a 'Ballistic Parachute'. If something happens, the pilot pulls a toggle and a small propellant (similar to one used in a car airbag) is fired rapidly deploying a parachute. The pilot, Jetpack and parachute descend as one.

There hasn't been a cost announced for the jetpack, but you can guess it's probably going to be pretty pricey. You can check out video of the jetpack in action, and get more information about it, over at the website HERE.

I'm a little bit of a space nut, so I'd love to have one of these. Here's the details from the press release:

As we celebrate the historic moon landing of Apollo 11 on July 20, Fisher Space Pen Co. is making available 1,000 limited edition AG7-40LE Space Pens. The pen is designed as a replica of the historic anti-gravity model pen that was invented by company founder, Paul C. Fisher, in 1966 and flew aboard the Apollo missions.

The 40th anniversary pen features a piece of “Kapton” foil, used as protective thermal insulation on the Apollo 11 Command module, Columbia, which carried the astronauts to the moon and back. This rare artifact floats in a water-clear acrylic dome sealed into the pen’s cap.

The presentation case tells the historic story of the Apollo 11 mission as well as other monumental moments in human spaceflight. The iconic photo of Neil Armstrong’s first step on the moon is replicated in a resin casting of the footprint inset into the hinged lid. And, an innovative magnetic pedestal allows the pen to sit on its own “launch pad” for display when the lid is closed. The story continues on the sides of the case with a band of plated stainless steel and is engraved with a timeline that tells the moment-by-moment story of the mission’s key events, from launch to splashdown.

The pen is finished with black titanium nitride. The detailed engravings inlayed with 24-karat gold include the pen’s sequential serial number, the names of the Apollo 11 crew and the image of an astronaut planting the American flag into the lunar surface.

The Fisher AG7 Space Pen, featuring Fisher’s sealed and pressurized anti-gravity ink cartridge, has been issued to astronauts for NASA human spaceflights since 1968.

“The 40th anniversary of the moon landing presented the perfect opportunity to respectfully honor my father’s invention and the useful role it has and continues to contribute to human space exploration,” said Cary Fisher, company president. “I believe he would be delighted and proud to offer 1,000 people the opportunity to own a piece of history from that remarkable era.”

The limited edition ball-point pen and display case is US $800, and is available for advance purchase at www.spacepen.com or call 702-293-3100.

The 25-acre peninsula was bought by the Codman family in 1872 for just $800, and is now on the market for the first time in 137 years for $7.7 million.

The peninsula has four homes, accessory buildings, a deep water dock, tennis court, boathouse, and five sandy beaches.

The homes and landscape were designed by renowned architect Guy Lowell and have been exquisitely maintained. The downside is that the homes were designed at the turn of the century, and therefore have no heat.

The peninsula is in southeast Massachusetts, approximately 55 miles from Boston and 45 miles from Providence.

You can check out a few more pictures of it at one of the real estate site HERE.

This award winning short was created by filmmaker Bruce Branit, widely known as the co-creator of '405'. World Builder was shot in a single day followed by about 2 years of post production. Branit is the owner of Branit VFX based in Kansas City.

There's some amazing effects in this film. It's worth taking a look at when you have the time. I thought the music was well done also. I'm going to have to track down 405 and see what it was about.

You can watch it over at the Vimeo site HERE.
