New Tron Legacy Trailer

I was a fan of the original, but never a huge one. I have to admit though, that I'm really looking forward to this one. It might even be the movie I'm looking forward to most this year, which is saying a lot with Iron Man 2 coming out in May.

The story takes place years after the first movie, and one of the main characters is Flynn's son. Everything still has a cool Tron look to it, although the neon has been toned down. They've also upgraded all of the iconic things, such as the lightcycle and the disc everyone whips around.

The trailer doesn't give much of the plot, aside from what I've mentioned. The movie doesn't come out until December though, so I'm sure there's going to be a lot more between now and then.

You can check out the trailer HERE.

Iron Man 2 – New Trailer

Apple has put up a new trailer for the Iron Man 2 movie. This one give you a little more insight to the plot of the movie. I was a little afraid that they were going with the two different bad guys idea, but from the trailer, it seems there's one at the beginning, and one at the end, and the two work together in the middle.

Also, if you thought the few seconds of Iron Man and War Machine wailing on some bad guys for a few seconds was awesome, you're really going to love this one.

You can check it out over at the Apple site HERE

The Mel Brooks Collection [Blu-ray]

I like a lot of the Blu-ray collections they have coming out. Though I would bet a lot of these could also be found on DVD and maybe even VHS. Regardless, this is another one that is a must buy.

The set comes with the movies Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety, History Of The World Part 1 , Robin Hood Men In Tights, Silent Movie, To Be Or Not To Be, and Twelve Chairs.

The set costs $90, which isn't bad since it comes to $10 a movie. You can buy one over at Amazon HERE.

Zombieland Hits The Shelves On Feb. 2nd

This movie is an instant classic. Everyone should see it at least once.

Here's the details from Amazon.com:

If there's been a zombie apocalypse and you're road-tripping alone though the wasteland, you could do worse than run into Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), a bourbon-swilling bad-boy butt-kicker with a really cool car. This is where the careful hero of Zombieland, a kid nicknamed Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), finds himself early in the film, and you can hardly blame him for hitching a ride with this swaggering Alpha Male. Still, they have their hands full not only with gibbering zombies but also with two sisters (Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin) who will stop at nothing to reach a Disneyland-like amusement park in L.A. Although Zombieland gets off to a rocky start with Columbus's overly-cute narration (he's got a list of rules for surviving in the zombie world), it settles into an amusing comedy, regularly interrupted by bouts of blood-letting. The road-trip stuff is enough fun that when the movie does arrive at its version of Disneyland, the air goes out of it a little; sure, there's a giant zombie blowout, with entrails flying, but it's not quite the same. Director Ruben Fleischer keeps the gags coming, although the movie is often funnier in its odd little asides (both Eisenberg and Harrelson are expert at this) than in its official jokes. Comic high point: an interlude at the home of a very famous movie star, who plays himself–and we'll leave the spoiler unspoiled, in case anybody hasn't heard about this funny extended cameo. –Robert Horton

Life Sized Tron Legacy Lightbike

The movie is still a little less than a year off, but there's already a quick trailer out that you can watch HERE, and this new life size Lightbike.

Pretty cool looking.

There's no other information about the bike at the moment, but it'll probably make the rounds to various places to promote the movie.

It was created by Toymaker Spin Master, and you can check out a better picture of it HERE.

Clint Eastwood: 35 Films 35 Years at Warner Bros.

This is a nice set of movies. The only bad thing is that the classic Spaghetti Westerns aren't a part of it. Though you do get Pale Rider and Unforgiven, and all of the Dirty Harry movies.

Here's the details:

Hollywood icon and legend Clint Eastwood has touched generations of filmgoers for over half a century. In honor of Eastwood's longstanding 35-year relationship with Warner Bros through Malpaso Productions, WHV is releasing this definitive DVD collection containing 34 classic Clint Eastwood films from the Warner library and highlighting the breadth and depth of his work — from Where Eagles Dare through Gran Torino. Included are his “Dirty Harry” movies, Best Picture Oscar® dramas and nominees, Westerns, war movies, comedies, and more – plus commentaries, featurettes, and extras on many of his films.  The 35th film is an all-new documentary The Eastwood Factor, which offers a rare and personal look at the actor and filmmaker.  The box set also features a 24-page booklet extracted from Clint: A Retrospective by Richard Schickel plus insightful studio correspondence and photos. Note: Extras are only included for some films.

Films included: 1. Where Eagles Dare, 1968, 2. Kelly's Heroes, 1970, 3. Dirty Harry, 1971, 4. Magnum Force, 1973, 5. The Enforcer, 1975, 6. The Outlaw Josey Wales, 1976, 7. The Gauntlet, 1977, 8. Every Which Way but Loose, 1978, 9. Bronco Billy, 1980, 10. Any Which Way You Can, 1980, 11. Honkytonk Man, 1982, 12. Firefox, 1982, 13. Sudden Impact, 1983, 14. City Heat, 1984, 15. Tightrope, 1984, 16. Pale Rider, 1985, 17. Heartbreak Ridge, 1986, 18. Bird, 1988, 19. The Dead Pool, 1988, 20. Pink Cadillac, 1989, 21. White Hunter, Black Heart, 1990, 22. The Rookie, 1990, 23. The A-Team Movie

Just from the trailer this movie looks likes it's going to be way over the top. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to watch it anyway.

If you haven't ever seen the TV show, most of this will be lost on you. If you remember the show at all, you might get sort of a guilty pleasure out of watching the trailer as I did.

The movie will be out in June, and you can check out the trailer HERE.

Family Guy Presents: Something Something Something Dark Side

Something Something DarksideThis should be awesome.

The story of The Empire Strikes Back is retold. Darth Vader (Stewie) is hunting the rebel Luke Skywalker (Chris) and his troops relentlessly across the galaxy. On the ice planet Hoth, Luke has a vision of his late mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert), telling him to go to the Dagobah system to learn the ways of the Force under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl). Meanwhile Princess Leia (Lois) finds herself taking a shine to the scruffy pilot Han Solo (Peter) and, against all odds, the two soon fall in love. But an encounter with Han’s old friend Lando Calrissian (Mort) lands them in the clutches of the Empire. Envisioning this, Luke chooses to forgo his Jedi training to save his friends. It all comes to a head in a climactic confrontation with Darth Vader himself…

It's not available until December 22nd but you can pre-order it from Amazon HERE

The James Bond Blu-ray 10-Pack

James BondThe only bad thing about this is that I would guess that all of the James Bond movies are going to be out on Blu-ray at some point, if they aren't already.

This is a nice collection though, that has ten 007 movies: Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, Live and Let Die, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, The World is Enough, Die Another Day, and Quantum of Solace.

I'm not sure I would have thrown Moonraker, as it's not one of my favorites. I also would have put Casino Royale in there, rather than Quantum, as I think it's a better stand alone movie.

You can pick up the set for $160, which is a good chunk of cash, but not all that bad when you consider that's $16 a movie. You can grab it over at Amazon HERE.

Universal Soldier: Regeneration

Ok, I'm one of those odd people that sort of likes bad movies. If you can name the movie, there's a good chance that I've actually seen. Especially if it's a franchise, such as Prophecy, Hellraiser, Oblivion, and so on.

To tell you the depths of my bad movie fetish, I was actually excited to see that they are coming out with a new Universal Soldier movie. Now, the name alone didn't really stir up all that much excitement, I would have thrown it on the Netflix list, and it would have shown up at some point. However, they got both Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme to reprise their original roles from the first movie. Hence the "Regeneration" part of the title.

Its going strait to DVD, of course, which is actually a little disappointing. Yes, I would have paid money to see it in the theater. Sad, but there it is.

The movie is supposed to be out sometime in January, and yes, it's already saved in my Netflix queue.

If you're a glutton for punishment like myself, or just morbidly curious, you can check out the trailer HERE.
