I don't have a lot of details on this yet, but it's not until next year, so there's a lot of time. What I can say is that you have to sign up with Virgin Games, and there's going to be some tournaments for the PS3 and Xbox360. Unfortunately, PC games aren't invited, which I would guess is because of possible cheating.  Here's the few details so far:

The original Tribes was always one of my favorite shooters, so it's good to see that someone is making an updated version. I think this is only going to be for the PC though, which if that's true, it's a shame. Mostly because I don't have a decent rig to play it at the moment. The release date is sometime late this year, and it's been making the rounds at the gaming conventions, so it should be available for downloading any time now.

I got to play the demo of this at the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, and it guaranteed that it was going to be an instant purchase. Graphicly it looked great, and I liked the game play. Since you wake up on an island without weapons, I didn't know how much fun it would be, but beating a zombie with an oar is still pretty satisfying. Here's some details:

The island of Banoi is a lush, tropical paradise in the South Pacific where its flagship Royal Palms Resort serves as the ultimate getaway for vacationers with money to burn. However, all good things must soon come to an end – and the picturesque resort falls into madness, carnage and chaos after a mysterious and contagious zombie outbreak claims its once peaceful atmosphere. Cut off from the rest of the world, only four individuals who strangely find themselves immune to zombification have the power to protect the remaining survivors from the horrors of the island, to discover what's really going on and find a way to escape before their own fatal ends.

Think of this as a more friendly paint gun, without the paint. It shoots what amounts to water pellets. Though it can shoot them between 50 and 85 feet.

There's a few models of guns, and each holds 200 to 500 rounds depending on the size of the gun.

Also, the guns cost between $15 and $40, with the model above being the top of the line 2000.

I really wish that this chair was in black, but it's pretty nice. The $200 price tag isn't outrageous either. Here's the details:

The biggest problem I have with wireless headphones is battery life. Add in the mic, and it might really drain the power pretty quick. Nothings worse than being in the middle of a game, and having the mic and sound cut out on you. No word on the battery life of these, but everything else sounds great. I especially like the retractable mic, for when you just need, I hope, a decent pair of headphones. Here's the details:
