The PokerMate table is a completely electronic poker table, that comes in 6, 8 or 10 seat models. Each player has their own touch sensitive screen which shows them their cards, face down, that actually curl up to let you see what you have when you touch them. The central screen shows the community cards, bets, and so on. Players can fold, check, post blinds, raise or call during the course of a game, all with a simple touch. The software itself will handle distributes cards, splits pots, calculates side pots, payouts and rake without error.
No word on price yet, and honestly I'm not sure that I would like one of these. Sure, I play online, but when I'm in a casino, I like the feel of the chips and the cards. It might be fun for a time or two, but overall, I just can't see it catching on.
You can read more about it at the Amaya site HERE.

I'm not sure if these will be popping up in a casino anytime soon, but you have to think someone will try it out.
The table itself uses a 56” touch sensitive LCD screen that has a 3840×2160 resolution. Using a patent pending technology, the screen can identify which of the players are responsible for which clicks. This lets up to seven people place their own bets, all at the same time.
The table keeps track of how much money the players have, automatically awards money if you win, let's you repeat your bets and generally makes the game go a lot faster. There's even a help function so players can learn the game. Another added feature that the casinos might like is the fact that you can connect several tables to a single wheel, which means you're going to have a faster game, with few people to run it.
You can read more about it on their site HERE.

Benjamin Siegelbaum was born on February 28, 1906 in Brooklyn, New York, to a poor Austrian Jewish family. During adolescence, Siegel befriended Meyer Lansky, forming a small gang whose criminal activities included gambling and car theft, and later the two joined forces with Charles "Lucky" Luciano.
Bugsy eventually came to Las Vegas in 1941, backed by Al Capone to establish the Trans America race wire service. He would soon have bigger plans however.
Bugsy envisioned building a large casino and hotel to which gamblers would flock. His vision was fueled by the fact that gambling had been legal in Nevada since 1911, and construction of Hoover Dam had created a population boom in the area. Bugsy went back East and captivated his fellow mobsters with the idea of building a gambling mecca in the Nevada desert, and was given $1.5 million to begin working on his dream to construct a hotel-casino named "The Flamingo", his pet name for girlfriend Virginia Hill.
Siegel opened his still-unfinished casino on the star-studded night of December 26, 1946, although he did not have as many Hollywood celebrities with him as he had hoped. Soon the Flamingo ran dry of entertainers and customers, and the casino closed after only two weeks in order to complete construction. The fully operational Flamingo re-opened in March of 1947, and the Las Vegas Strip was born.
Happy Birthday Bugsy, and thanks for Vegas.

Paul Michael has an article over at WiseBread.com on his top five ways to hustle a free drink. All of these involve making a bet with someone for a free drink, and of course the trick to winning every time. What's really great is that you can watch a video of each hustle so you know exactly what to do, rather than having to rely on someone's drawings or description.
The bets are probably best made with friends, or maybe to impress a girl or two. You can watch the videos HERE.
