I have no idea why you would need one of these, but if you need a 113 decibel sound to get you out of bed in the morning, here's your clock. Just to give you an idea of how loud that is, here's something to compare it to:

? A normal conversion between two people will not exceed 50 dB in most cases
? Standing at a busy road junction will subject your hearing to 80 dB
? Petrol powered lawnmower has a typical noise level of 90 dB
? Jack hammer fully working at one meter away distance has a noise level of 100 db
? Boeing 707 just before landing has a noise level of 106 dB
? Aircraft taking off from an aircraft carrier at 50ft distance has a noise level of 130 db

So somewhere between a plane landing, and taking off, next to your head. Here's the details:

This is the alarm clock that wakes even the most stubborn sleepers with a 113-decibel ringer that's as loud as thunder. Sleepers can adjust the alarm tone and volume up to 113 decibels to create a customized sound that is certain to compel them to get out of bed. Far from relying simply on sound, the alarm clock can be set to flash its three bright red LEDs and the included vibrating pad can be placed under a mattress to provide an insistent, bed-shaking tremor that serves as the last line of defense against oversleeping. The clock plugs into AC and has a 9-volt battery back up (battery not included) that powers the alarm during a power outage.

You can grab one for $35 over at the Hammacher Schlemmer site HERE.

This is a pretty straight forward site, there's beautiful women in small outfits showing you how to do things. Awesome.

I haven't explored the site, so I have no idea how good the how-to information actually is, but they seem to have a little bit of everything to choose from. The picture above is from the "How-To Build a Cyclorama Photo Studio With Ashley", and even though I have no idea what the hell that is, I'm still fine with seeing how to build one. It's educational, I swear.

Other how-to's range from possibly useful, such as "How-To Replace a Kitchen Faucet With Mandi", to simpler things like "How-To Avoid Steamy Mirrors With Tara". There's only about 15 videos so far, but it looks like they are shooting for weekly updates.

The Illustrious Omnibus of Superpowers

A taxonomic tree of over 100 wondrous powers and abilities, with over 200 superheroes and supervillains as examples thereof. Face front, True Believer!

Thanks to Brooklyn's own Bergen Street Comics for helping us with the research on this one, and also to the incredible Agent_M.
18" x 24"
Each poster is signed by the artists and numbered, from an edition of 500.

Using 100 lb archival recycled stock certified by The Forest Stewardship Council, this poster is pressed with vegetable-based inks in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

There's only 500 of these, and they're $25 a piece. You can snag one HERE.

If this sucker can chuck a snowball 150 feet, I'm wondering how hard you can pop someone from around 30 feet. That might be a little cruel of me, but that's the way it goes. Anyway, here's the details:

Providing an unexpected tactical advantage on the winter battlefield, this is the slinger that can hurl snowballs up to 150'. Shaped like the xistera used in jai alai–the curved basket used to launch the sport's ball–the slinger's curved trough propels snowballs with plenty of momentum to reach targets normally out of a throw's range. The handle has a built-in mold that unfolds and presses scooped snow into a tightly packed, perfectly round snowball. Made from resilient ABS.

You can grab a set of two for $25 over at the Hammacher Schelemmer site HERE.
