Alright, so you're not allowed using the actual name of that game, for the NFL, that I've heard is Super, without coughing up some cash. Which is why Hanes wants to send you out to the "Football Championship Game" held this year in Glendale, AZ.
You do have to play what looks like a slightly annoying game, but it might be worth it. When you finish, you can win an instant prize of an Apple iPhone, an iPod, or Hanes products. Plus, everyone that makes it through is entered for the grand prize.
The Grand prize winner, and one super lucky friend, will be flown out to Glendale AZ, put up in a hotel for four days three nights, get transportation to and from the airport and the game, and two tickets to the big game
The contest runs until Nov. 30, 2007, and you can play the game to enter HERE. The site has audio, so you might want to turn the sound down or off if you're at work.

This trailer, that you can still fit in a normal garage, comes with everything you might need to throw a great tailgate party. The trailer includes a 27″ LCD TV to watch the pre-game, a satellite dish for reception, CD/DVD player, a 1000 watt electric generator, a propane grill, electrical outlets, a sink with running water, beer on tap and even a toilet. Not enough? Well, you can also upgrade the generator to 2000 watts, get an automatic satellite dish, a keg refrigerator to keep the beer cold (probably a must have), a microwave, and various styles of barbecues.
Getting one of these trailers will set you back around $14,000, and of course go up from there depending on what options you add on. You can read more about the trailers at the Gameday Customs site HERE.

The Giants and the Jets have uncovered the first stadium to be jointly owned by two NFL teams and the plan is to make two competing teams feel at home in a $1.3 billion stadium
The stadium is located on a 40-acre tract and has got five parking lots between the existing stadium and the racetrack this eight-story; open-air stadium will be the first in the league to house two franchises.
The stadium has been financed by a 50-50 joint venture of the teams and about $300 million in state funds.
Steve Tisch who is the chairman and executive vice president of the New York Giants has said that “Ensuring that the stadium would feel like home to both teams and both groups of fans was our goal and also one of the biggest challenges in the design of the stadium and to do that, the stadium will feature an eight-story mega display, called the “Great Wall, with 400-foot-long by 40-foot-high panels featuring either team’s logo or neutral colors for non-football events.”
The yet unnamed building, for which owners are still working on a naming-rights deal, will host 20 NFL games each season - more than any football stadium in the country.

Cheerleaders have been synonymous with sports since time began. Now, for those at the professional level, they have their own blog.
The site has articles on everything from where to try out for a team, to the New England Patriots Cheerleaders 3rd annual dog wash (lucky pooches). You can also find links to individual cheerleader pages, other cheerleader sites, and the home pages for the usual NFL and NBA cheerleader site to those you may never have heard of like the Hog's Breath Cafe Cheer Squad.
The site is updated quite a bit, and always has pictures of what ever they're discussing. It seems that there's also a number of cheerleaders that visit the site (and contribute), and their pictures are usually running down the right hand side of the page. The site is more for cheerleaders than the rest of us, so it's not just an excuse to stare at the girls, although I'm sure there's a lot of that regardless.
You can visit the site HERE.

It's getting near that time again when I become an NFL football junkie. I slacked a little the last couple of years as I was a little burnt out, but I'm gearing up for this year in a big way. I get the DirecTV NFL season pass thing every year, and pretty much do nothing every Sunday but watch my Bears, and bits and pieces of every other NFL game. I also have the big 62-inch HD TV, which is pretty much the best thing I've ever bought. The extras to that I've been slacking on are fantasy football and betting on the games. I already have one fantasy football team, and I'm thinking about getting a second, or maybe even a third. The betting thing is now annoying with the Government law about banks letting you put money into a gambling account, but as with everything, I'm sure there are 100 ways around that by now.
If anyone knows a good fantasy league, or tips on getting around the betting thing, email me here: admin@vicepost.com
Speaking of betting, which was what this post was about before I started rambling, is that I just caught the odds of winning the Super Bowl, which are:
Arizona Cardinals 45/1
Atlanta Falcons 60/1
Baltimore Ravens 18/1
Buffalo Bills 100/1
Carolina Panthers 25/1
Chicago Bears 14/1
Cincinnati Bengals 15/1
Cleveland Browns 125/1
Dallas Cowboys 20/1
Denver Broncos 20/1
Detroit Lions 70/1
Green Bay Packers 40/1
Houston Texans 100/1
Indianapolis Colts 7/1
Jacksonville Jaguars 30/1
Kansas City Chiefs 55/1
Miami Dolphins 55/1
Minnesota Vikings 50/1
New England Patriots 8/5
New Orleans Saints 14/1
New York Giants 30/1
New York Jets 38/1
Oakland Raiders 75/1
Philadelphia Eagles 20/1
Pittsburgh Steelers 25/1
San Diego Chargers 6/1
San Francisco 49ers 18/1
Seattle Seahawks 20/1
St.Louis Rams 38/1
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 50/1
Tennessee Titans 55/1
Washington Redskins 40/1
Looks like the Bills and Titans are at the bottom of the list at 100 to 1 odds. My Bears are 14 to 1, the Colts 7 to 1, and get this, the Patriots are 8/5. That seems a little odd to me. I get that the Patriots are a yearly favorite anymore, but come on, 8/5?

If you're the type that wins your fantasy football league every year, or maybe an FF junkie that plays in 10 different leagues, this might be for you.
The site bills itself as The World Championship of Fantasy Football, and it's not for the casual player. The three levels of satellite leagues are $220, $500, and $1000 for a team. However, if you want to play against the best, there's the top level which will set you back $1750. In the top level league, you'll play with 1,200 others for a grand prize of $300,000 if you're the top team. You also win for 2nd though 15th, and can make $7000 just for winning your league championship. Each league will also have a live draft in either Las Vegas, Atlantic City, or Orlando.
You can hit the main site HERE if you think you have what it takes.

The company Agri-Fab is giving away a three day, two night, weekend trip for two people to the pro football game of your choice, and an autographed Daryl Johnston throwback jersey and football. The winner of course also gets a round trip flight, and a three day car rental. The kind of odd thing is that the official rules state that you get "$300.00 cash which may be used by winner to purchase two tickets to the game", so where you sit and how much you spend is up to you.
If you don't win the grand prize, there's a few first and second place prizes of autographed Daryl Johnston footballs and jerseys.
The contest goes through July 6, 2007, and you can register HERE.

The party is a long way off, but entries need to be received by April 17th, 2007. Plus, if you win, it will give you something to look forward to all year. Although they call it the "Championship Game" for legal reasons, it's a Super Bowl party.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a three day / two night trip for two to Glendale, Arizona. Prize includes roundtrip coach airfare for two from the US gateway airport closest to the winner’s home, accommodations for two nights at a hotel, ground transportation between the airport and hotel and two tickets to the Maxim Championship Game Party in February 2008.
You can enter the contest HERE.

Over at ESPN.com they have a site titled "A Story Behind Every Ring" giving you a story to go along with the first 40 Super Bowl rings. There's also a 20 questions section, a picture of each ring of course, and a video discussing how the rings are chosen/made/designed.
It's an interesting read, with a little trivia thrown in. Head on over to the site HERE to check it out.
