I like this idea, but it's going a little too far I think just to use your iPhone as a remote.
The case itself is an IR transmitter, which is needed, since most electronics use IR. Once your iPhone is snapped into the case, it becomes a universal remote, allowing you to control pretty much anything. The free application itself has all of the information about your electronics, and has a point and click programing setup.
The case does make your iPhone a little longer, but since I would guess you would only use it at home, that's probably not a big deal.
No idea how much this will cost, as it's not officially released yet. You can check it out over at the Power A site HERE, and sign up to have them email you when it's done.

I don't think this has hit the US yet, but it should sometime soon.
The MSI Air is a wireless unit that acts as a mini keyboard, mouse, and media remote. The keyboard sounds like it's made to be used more with your thumbs than fingers, but mouse control is what really sets it apart.
The MSI Air has a built in accelerometer, mush like an iPhone, and lets you tilt the keyboard to move the mouse around the screen. Right and left buttons at the top of the unit work the same as standard mouse buttons.
Like anything new and cool, it's going to cost you a little more at around $108. Once it hits the US, I'm guessing that number will move up a bit, but I'm hoping it comes in at around $99, but that's doubtful. A better guess might be $119.
You can read more a little more about it over at the Everything USB site HERE.

So far I like this a lot better that the iPad. First off, the name doesn't suck, and it's only $200. The downside is that it's only a 7-inch screen. Here's a few general details:

I'd love to hear how good this works. The idea is that it turns a surface into a speaker. This of course means that you have a good surface to use it on. It's a little pricey at $70, but might be worth it if it produces some great sound. Here's the details:
Mobile music typically means listening through headphones isolating yourself from others and your environment. The Tunebug Vibe is an ultra-portable sound generator that can be connected to MP3 players, mobile devices, laptops or any other device with a 3.5mm audio jack.
Tunebug’s patented SurfaceSound technology lets sound waves pass through the surfaces it rests on turning many surfaces into a flat panel speaker.

I wish I could have tracked down a picture of the cases, but they don't have any up just yet. If they look pretty good, it might be worth grabbing one or two. Here's the press release:
Mobile tech enthusiasts who want to make a statement about the environment as much as about their technology can now do both with the market introduction today of the new “Back to Nature” Series of eco-friendly cases for PDAs, smart phones, and ultra-compact cameras by Mizco International’s (www.mizco.com) DIGIPOWER Division. The cases feature recycled paper, hemp, cotton, and bamboo!
Now available at suggested retail prices ranging from $14.99 to $29.99, the “Back to Nature” Series sets a new standard for the use of 100% recycled materials in each case model’s design. The black flip and fold-over cotton woven cases, which also feature an embroidered flap, are manufactured from 100% degradable cotton. The flip and fold-over black hemp cases are constructed entirely from 100% biodegradable hemp. The recycled paper cases feature 100% recycled pulp from used paper and a 100% linen lining, making it both eco-friendly and fully degradable.
