This is a pretty great idea. It's both a cutter and a lighter for a cigar. Keeps you from having to separate things in your pocket when you go out. Here's the details from the site:
The top brass of windproof cigar lighters, The Don has a Quantum torch flame ignition. The Don maintains a compact frame with its built-in guillotine cutter that can dissect up to a 50-ring cigar.
It comes in four different versions, and there's a few other models on the site to choose from. Also a number of regular lighters.
The one pictured here goes for $58, which is a little much, but if you're interested you can get one HERE.
I'd love to grab one of these, but at $29-ish a cigar, I'll probably hold off for a bit, and then miss out. These are a limited time only thing, so if you're interested, you better hurry. Here's the details, pulled from the Cigar.com site:
Rolled with a Dominican wrapper grown in only one vintage harvest year, this special edition OpusX is available in only a handful of sizes with only 500 boxes shipped per year.
Fuente OpusX is one of the rarest cigars in the world. It is elusive to almost every enthusiast because of its limited production. Prior to 1990, the Dominican Republic was well know for its filler and binder tobacco. Growing wrapper tobacco on the island proved impossible due to the topography of the land and the wind. The wrapper is a vital component of any cigar as it contributes to most of the flavor. Carlos Fuente Jr. set out on a mission to be the first cigar maker in the Dominican Republic to successfully grow wrapper tobacco. With the help of cheesecloths to protect the tobacco from the elements, the first successful crop was turned out in 1992. This wrapper is matched with unparalleled vintage tobaccos for its filler and binder and was the first Dominican puro (it only contains tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic) on the market.
Lost City remains full-bodied from head to foot with a toasty character thoughout. Perfectly blended, you will find each and every Lost City smokes, burns and tastes the same from box to box as they expel earthy nuances with hints of spice. Packed full of Dominican long leaves, all limited and rare, OpusX Lost City is one of the rarest blends ever released to date.
You can check them out, or grab one, you can hit the Cigar.com site HERE.
This is a little on the expensive side at $60, but you get five very nice cigars. That comes to $12 a cigar, which isn't outrageous or anything, and the site says that the price is 42% off the regular. You can also pick up a cigar travel case for $45. Here are the details:

This is one of the pack of cigars that I got from from Famous Smoke, and I was really surprised. Out of the eight pack, I had picked the CAO cigar to try first, and while it was good, I really wasn't all that excited (you can read about that HERE). I grabbed the Don Thomas randomly out of the humidor the other evening, and I was really surprised. The Don Thomas Special Edition is one of the better cigars I've had in a while.
Here's what Famous Smoke has about it:
Don Tomas Special Edition Connecticut cigars are distinguished by their silky, smooth-smoking U.S.-grown Connecticut Shade wrappers. Inside is a rich blend of Dominican, Mexican and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos for a creamy, toasty, mild to medium-bodied flavor with a marvelous aroma. This bestselling blend is a great way to introduce yourself to the Don Tomás family of fine cigars.
I would agree with most of that, except that I thought it had a medium or better flavor. This is one of those cigars that you really look forward to, and until I get some more, I'll be saving the other one for a special evening. Speaking of getting more, you can pick up a five pack of these for only $14, which is a fantastic price, over at the Famous Smoke site here: Don Tomas Special Edition
I had one of these this evening, and I enjoyed it. I've always been a CAO fan and I've come to expect a lot from their cigars. This one didn't wow me, but it was a nice solid smoke. Good taste, nice slow burn, and solid all the way around. If you were looking for a good cigar that just about everyone would like, this would be a great choice. For me it held a middle ground in just about everything I look for in a cigar.
CAO CX2 cigars (Cameroon times two) present a rich-tasting, medium-bodied cigar brimming with velvety-smooth flavor and a seductive aroma. Now made expressly for Famous Smoke Shop, these cigars have a perfectly-balanced blend of robust Nicaraguan and Colombian longfiller tobaccos surrounded by TWO rare, Grade-1 African Cameroon binder and wrapper leaves. The smoke is laden with earthy-woody flavors underscored by sweet tobacco notes. One of CAO's BEST cigars.
You can grab one for $5.70, which I think is a solid price for this cigar, or a 5-pack for $26, over at the site here: CAO CX2
The Big Smoke in Las Vegas this year is November 12th and 13th later this year. There are two parts to the Big Smoke, the Big Smoke evenings, and the Seminars. Here's the details about the evenings:
Friday and Saturday evenings, from 6:30-9:30 p.m., are our traditional, fun-filled, "Big Smoke" evenings. At the "Big Smoke" evening you can join your fellow cigar lovers in an atmosphere of good cigars, good drinks, good food and great companionship.
As at every "Big Smoke" around the country, you have the opportunity to walk around and sample cigars from the more than 25 premium cigar producers that will be there. Your ticket price includes a cigar from each of the cigar exhibitors. Cigars will be listed on CigarAficionado.com on September 15.
Included in your ticket price are premium liquors, wines, beer, and other fine spirits from the extensive array of drink exhibitors and delicious dishes prepared for your pleasure by leading Las Vegas restaurants.
Also on display are luxury cars, motorcycles, golf equipment and many more items that appeal to an aficionado.
They also point out that you can smoke at the events. There's a large number of seminars such as cigar tastings, tobacco lands, and how to roll your own cigar. Tickets for the events always sounds expensive, but you have to remember that most of it is an all inclusive type of thing with free cigars and alcohol. Tickets for each of the evening events is $240, and $550 if you want to hit the seminar and evening event.
You can grab some tickets at the Cigar Aficionado site HERE.
I can't say that I'm overly excited about the watch in this combo. It's nice looking, and I'm sure its made well, but it just doesn't grab me at all.
The combo is pretty cool, and I'd like to see a lot more of this kind of thing. You get a humidor, the cigars (maybe) and the your choice of a steel or rose gold plated watch. There will be 188 of each watch type made, and they're only available in the U.S., though I'm not sure where you'll be able to actually grab one.
The steel watch set costs $1,650, and the rose gold at $1,750.
You can read more about the set, and get a close up view of the watch, over at the Perpetuelle site HERE.
I was lucky enough to get a box of these myself, AND one to give away to one lucky winner. Here's the details on the cigars:
