Exo Concept Watercraft

I'm sure I will never ride one of these, but it looks awesome. Here's the details:

World premiere at the Cannes Boat Show, EXOCONCEPT presents EXO a new electric and ecological water toy.
At the Cannes Boat Show 2011, EXOCONCEPT unveils EXO, a new electric watercraft, ecological, fun and sport that can be used without a license.

After two years of studies, developments and registrations at the INPI, the EXO embeds the highest performances that technology can offer, in particular an underwater electric propulsion group, radically innovative, with a large range of uses, completed with the last generation of high-capacity batteries.

Among the basic criteria of a list of specifications focused on excellence and an impeccable building quality, the EXO had to present a radically new form, be ergonomic, ecological, easily transportable and be virtually without maintenance.
EXOCONCEPT intends to equip water sports centers worldwide and has built dedicated business packages in order to offer to them an access to a new category of customers.

The EXO line is available in two different materials: reinforced ABS and carbon fiber, and in several powers of engines starting from 3.5 until 7Kwh.

The EXO line in carbon fiber, more luxury and sport orientated, comes with the most powerful engine (7Kwh), and some exclusive optional features that can be personalized. Without a doubt, this line will satisfy all yacht owners and extreme sports lovers who look for difference and strong emotions.

EXOCONCEPT is currently working to put in place its sales network and looks for official dealers worldwide. The first deliveries of EXOs will be done during the first quarter of 2012. The company can already receive pre-orders.

You can read a lot more about it over at the Exoconcept site HERE.

All Electric Tron Light Cycle

I would love one of these.

Parker Brothers has created an all-electric replica model of a Tron Light Cycle. The bike's 96-volt electric motor has a range of about 100 miles, and only needs a 15 to 35 minute charge. Parker Brothers also says that the bike can reach up to 100 MPH.

It's currently not street legal, but the Parker Brothers have said they are looking at that. Not info on price yet, or how many of them will be made, but there was a gas version not too long ago that sold for $35,000.

You can watch the YouTube video of the bike in action HERE.

Breitling Colt Watch

The same spirit but a new look. Breitling has entirely redesigned its Colt model, a symbol of sturdiness, reliability and performance. A sculptural model carved in steel, the new Colt turns heads with its original styling clearly built for action, achievements and thrills. With its solid construction and its water resistance to 300 meters (1,000 ft) or 500 meters (1,650 ft), it establishes itself as an exceptionally sporty model, a champion and natural frontrunner. Its originality begins with the bezel featuring a taut, sophisticated shape and stamped numerals, and continues with the case echoing the same outline. The dials are adorned with new rounded numerals exclusively designed for this model, with rhythmical motifs and with a play on colors. The steel bracelet reinforces the unique character of this fresh, youthful and dynamic design, while ensuring optimal comfort and sturdiness.

Available in three versions endowed with strong and distinctive characters, including a chronograph and a ladies’ watch, the new Colt is equipped with SuperQuartz™ movements that are chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), like all Breitling movements.

Hall Wines

I do think $90 is a little expensive for wine, but on the other hand, I don't mind paying for it if it's worth it. If anyone gets a chance to try this, let me know if it's any good. Here's the press release:

HALL Wines releases FLAGSHIP CABERNET SAUVIGNON

2008 HALL “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon

NAPA VALLEY, CA, September 16, 2011 – HALL Wines, the premier 21st century vineyard and winery, announces the release of their signature offering – the 2008 HALL “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon. Part of HALL Wines’ Napa Valley Collection, the 2008 HALL “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon epitomizes HALL’s commitment to producing California’s quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon.

“As the flagship wine of our collection, the release of the 2008 HALL “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon celebrates our efforts to create the best quality wine,” said Kathryn Hall, Owner and Vintner of HALL Wines. “Each vintage is a unique conception. We farm these vineyards year after year and the Good Earth never stops testing us, and dazzling us.”

Primarily crafted from HALL Wines’ renowned Sacrashe vineyard, the 2008 HALL “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon highlights the captivating voice of the Sacrashe vineyard’s restrictive volcanic ash soils, high elevation and undulating characteristics. The nearly opaque purple-black color of the wine is only the embodiment of the depth and power of the wine. Exuding aromas of violets, cocoa powder, stewed raspberries, blackberry nectar and roasted herbs, the 2008 HALL “Kathryn Hall” Cabernet Sauvignon is luscious and dense, with a sweet and smooth core. Dark cherries, blackberry preserves, black spice and roasted nut flavors intertwine across a seemingly endless finish. Undeniably deep and full-bodied, this wine will continue to evolve with 15 years or more of cellaring.

On September 17th Kathryn Hall welcomes guests to HALL St. Helena winery to celebrate the release of the 2008 vintage, as well as to enjoy exceptional cuisine and live music. In addition to the newest release, HALL Wine Club Members can enjoy a vertical tasting of the HALL Wines flagship cabernet sauvignon.

As winegrowers and visionaries, Kathryn Hall and husband Craig Hall, have a strong respect for the environment and a commitment to cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes. HALL St. Helena is California’s first winery to receive the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Green Building Rating System™. HALL Wines is a recipient of Organic Farming Certification from The California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), one of the nation’s oldest and largest organic certification and trade associations.
