The Lamborghini Levo Concept Car

Yet another great looking concept car that I hope they start producing at some point.

The car is based on the Murcielago package, and keeps a number of the characteristics of the Gallardo and the Reventon.

With the Murcielago package, the car should have around 631hp, a zero to 60 time of 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 211mph.

The car was dreamed up during the Master in Transportation Design at Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milano, under the guidance of Filippo Perini and Wolfgang Egger.

The Quadski High Speed Amphibian

This thing is incredibly cool. No idea what one will cost. Here's some of the details:

Gibbs Technologies, the world’s only High Speed Amphibian (HSA) technology specialist, today unveiled a prototype of the first commercially viable high-speed personal sports amphibian – Quadski.

Quadski is the third demonstration of Gibbs’ HSA technology following the successes of the Aquada and the Humdinga. It is capable of travelling up to 50 mph (72 kph) on land and water and makes the transition at the flick of a switch.

Commenting on the launch of the Quadski prototype, Alan Gibbs, the founder of Gibbs Technologies said, “Quadski is both exciting and practical with a multitude of uses”.

“I know consumers will love the fun of driving a Quadski on land one minute and then head straight into the sea or river the next. But there is a very serious side to Quadski as well: emergency services and aid workers will be able to reach areas and people no two or four wheel drive vehicle could reach.”

You can check out a lot more of it HERE.

Archos 7 8GB Home Tablet

I've been thinking about getting one of these. At $200, it's a lot easier to grab rather than $500 or more for an iPad. Especially since I'm not overly fond of Apple. Doesn't have 3G though, just WiFi. Does run Android though, which will get you all of the applications. Here's the details:

ARCHOS' new ARCHOS 7 Home Tablet bridges the gap between the smartphone and the desktop PC, providing constant access to the web, customization through Android Apps, and delivery of multimedia content–all in a seven-inch widescreen format. Access the information you need, such as news, weather, or local business info. Enjoy your favorite movie clips or watch some YouTube videos for a quick entertainment fix. Or just kick back and listen to some music. With built-in Wi-Fi, quick and easy file transfer, and up to 7 hours video/44 hours music on a single charge, this affordable tablet will keep you entertained–and connected–all day long.

With its wide, high-resolution screen (800 x 480), the ARCHOS 7 home tablet is the perfect device for enjoying and sharing your multimedia content. 8 gigabytes of on-board flash memory gives you room for up to 7 full-length movies, 80,000 photos, or 4,000 songs, and the micro SDHC slot lets you swap in memory cards with even more content. The Lithium Polymer battery provides up to 7 hours of video or 42 hours of audio on a single charge.

Enjoy a selection of pre-installed applications ready for use straight out of the box. Also, since the ARCHOS 7 is an Android-based system, you can customize your home tablet by downloading your favorite applications. Choose from thousands available in the Android Market. You can also access a large variety of free and purchasable applications directly from the AppsLib store. These apps are sorted by genre, ratings and date to help you find the one you want.

The Ferrari 599 GTO

This is looking like it's Ferrari's fastest road car ever.

The 6.0-liter V-12 engine was upgraded to pump out 670 horsepower. There is a number of weight saving elements tot he car, giving it a curb weight of 3,296 pounds. The engine and weight combine to rocket the car from 0-62 mph in just 3.35 seconds, with an overall top speed in excess of 208 mph.

No idea on the price, but since there will be only 599 of them made, I'm sure it's well out of the range of most everyone.

You can read an extensive article about the car over at Motor Authority HERE.
