Sipsmith Gin And Vodka

The Sipsmith is the first new distillery to open up in London in the last 189 years. They only make batches in 500 bottles, in a still they've named Prudence, that was designed by Germany’s oldest distillery producers, Christian Carl – a small, family business who have been crafting stills since 1869.

From the site:

We always dreamt of creating a truly artisanal family of spirits of uncompromising quality. And in late Spring 2009, our handmade copper-pot still, “Prudence”, the first in London for 189 years, gently delivered our first batches of gin and vodka. The results are everything we hoped for – intense, smooth, full of character and, above all, wonderful to drink. We can't wait to share them with you…

Sounds pretty impressive. No idea where you would be able to track one of these down, but if anyone knows, let me know.

You can read more about it HERE.
