Interesting looking phone. No idea what it costs, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be cheap. Here's the details:
With BeoCom5, we have created a cordless phone that captures every nuance of your conversation – delivering a sound so real, it’s the next best thing to being there. Based on the same acoustic competences we apply in our Bang & Olufsen loudspeakers, we designed a speaker phone that lets you truly listen.
The elegant BeoCom 5 gives you easy access to more than 400 contacts and the possibility to customize the display specifically for each person in your household.
Freedom of choice is an operative phrase for BeoCom 5. You can choose between layouts in the display, select among nine different colours and get as much as eight different handsets for one phone. Its innovative speaker phone/hands-free feature is made practical and enjoyable while still offering something quite unique for a cordless phone, namely
Bang & Olufsen audio quality.
BeoCom 5 also offers two separate phone lines, allowing you to combine a regular landline with IP telephony, or perhaps use one line for private calls and the other for work, if you have a home office.
Suddenly feel like inviting more people to the conversation? The round BeoCom 5 speaker phone in sturdy aluminium is easy to take along anywhere in the house. A lot of focus has been put on achieving natural speech reproduction that is easy to distinguish and gives the illusion of being in the room with far-away relatives or business associates – even when several people speak at once.
You can read more about it over at the Bang & Olufsen site HERE.

Not sure how much I would use this, but I think it's a good idea. Here's the details:
The Cigar Stub is an elegant cigar-smoking accessory, much like what a money clip is for your loose bills. The ergonomic shape allows you to mirror the same feel and motion that you are accustomed to. It is the right fit for any size ring gauge. The Cigar Stub is more than just a cigar holder — it is a perfectly balanced instrument suited for any environment. The Cigar Stub’s sturdy stainless steel and aluminum construction is impervious to stains and won’t break if it is dropped. And with its protective cap, it slips neatly into your pocket.
Is the ashtray out of reach? Don’t worry — the Cigar Stub acts as a stand on any flat surface. Also available is the customized Cigar Stub ashtray, which everyone can use as well. And the Cigar Stub holds your cigar tight so it won’t slip, and it can be used anywhere — you can even place it on the greens while you’re playing golf.
Take your cigar enjoyment to the next level. The Cigar Stub adds distinction and refinement to your game and lends grace to social scenes — no more fumbling around for an ashtray or breaking conversation to find a place for your cigar.
You can grab one for $50 in one of three colors at the Cigar Stub site HERE.

I'm going to be in Las Vegas from Dec. 10th to the 15th. I might actually throw a few posts up if I think of something interesting, but I'll probably just be playing poker all day and totally forget.
I promise that I'll get back to regular posts as soon as I get back.

This is still at the top of my list of car's that I want. The Spyder has been hitting the car shows, and you can check out the whole press release, along with a number of other pictures, over at Autoblog HERE.

This should be awesome.
The story of The Empire Strikes Back is retold. Darth Vader (Stewie) is hunting the rebel Luke Skywalker (Chris) and his troops relentlessly across the galaxy. On the ice planet Hoth, Luke has a vision of his late mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert), telling him to go to the Dagobah system to learn the ways of the Force under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl). Meanwhile Princess Leia (Lois) finds herself taking a shine to the scruffy pilot Han Solo (Peter) and, against all odds, the two soon fall in love. But an encounter with Han’s old friend Lando Calrissian (Mort) lands them in the clutches of the Empire. Envisioning this, Luke chooses to forgo his Jedi training to save his friends. It all comes to a head in a climactic confrontation with Darth Vader himself…
It's not available until December 22nd but you can pre-order it from Amazon HERE.

This is a very cool concept. Here's the basic idea:
The AMATOYA concept will introduce a new class of vehicle to the field of fire appliance design; capable of reconnaissance and suppression, the proposal may gradually shift the way authorities approach modern fire fighting. Research indicates a need to develop an advanced and highly specialised light tanker. It must function primarily as a reconnaissance vehicle while providing unparalleled vehicle and crew safety/survivability, maintain superior off road capabilities and possess appropriate fire suppression technology for the purpose of initial response and front line defense.
You can a lot more details about this HERE.
