It's called the world's strongest because it's 32% alcohol. No idea what this would taste like, but you almost *have* to try it. Unfortunately they sold out of their first batch, but the second is close to being done. Here some of the details from the site:
The BrewDog team have pulled off our most audacious and ambitious project to date, and smashed a world record in the process. We have today, Thursday 26 November 2009, set a new world record after creating the strongest beer in the world. Weighing in at an ABV of 32%, BrewDog’s ‘Tactical Nuclear Penguin’ beats the previous record of 31% held by German beer brand Schorschbraer.
This beer is about pushing the boundaries, it is about taking innovation in beer to a whole new level. It is about achieving something which has never before been done and putting Scotland firmly on the map for progressive, craft beers.
This beer is bold, irreverent and uncompromising. A beer with a soul and a purpose. A statement of intent. A modern day rebellion for the craft beer proletariat in our struggle to over throw the faceless bourgeoisie oppression of corporate, soulless beer.’
The Antarctic name inducing schizophrenia of this uber-imperial stout originates from the amount of time it spent exposed to extreme cold. This beer began life as a 10% imperial stout 18 months ago. The beer was aged for 8 months in an Isle of Arran whisky cask and 8 months in an Islay cask making it our first double cask aged beer. After an intense 16 month, the final stages took a ground breaking approach by storing the beer at -20 degrees for three weeks to get it to 32%.
As I mentioned, it's sold out at the moment, but they have other beers for sale, and you can always keep the site handy for when the next batch is ready for purchase. You can head on over to the Brew Dog site HERE to check it all out.

The only bad thing about this is that I would guess that all of the James Bond movies are going to be out on Blu-ray at some point, if they aren't already.
This is a nice collection though, that has ten 007 movies: Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, Live and Let Die, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, The World is Enough, Die Another Day, and Quantum of Solace.
I'm not sure I would have thrown Moonraker, as it's not one of my favorites. I also would have put Casino Royale in there, rather than Quantum, as I think it's a better stand alone movie.
You can pick up the set for $160, which is a good chunk of cash, but not all that bad when you consider that's $16 a movie. You can grab it over at Amazon HERE.

I like the look of this case. I would like it better if it was made out of a darker wood, but that's just me. It also helps out the environment, how is explained below:
Beautiful . . .
In the hands of a craftsman, wood is simply the most beautiful material around. Crafted from select US hardwoods and Bamboo, each case has its own unique character.
Tough . . .
Wood is tough stuff – it’s nature’s version of carbon fiber. Naturally rigid and impact-resistant, when reinforced with steel pins, it’s serious protection for your iPod/iPhone.
VERY Renewable
For every tree we use, we replant 100 through our partnership with The Arbor Day Foundation and the US Forrestry Service to re-forrest areas damaged by fire and other natural disasters.
They're a little expensive at $40, but that's not horrible. You can grab one at the Vers site HERE.

These sound good. I usually don't get liquor flavored cigars, though I do like them. Not sure how much these cost, but seeing as how they're a limited edition, they're probably not cheap.
Here's the details:
You can check them out at the Gurkha site HERE.

Ok, I'm one of those odd people that sort of likes bad movies. If you can name the movie, there's a good chance that I've actually seen. Especially if it's a franchise, such as Prophecy, Hellraiser, Oblivion, and so on.
To tell you the depths of my bad movie fetish, I was actually excited to see that they are coming out with a new Universal Soldier movie. Now, the name alone didn't really stir up all that much excitement, I would have thrown it on the Netflix list, and it would have shown up at some point. However, they got both Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme to reprise their original roles from the first movie. Hence the "Regeneration" part of the title.
Its going strait to DVD, of course, which is actually a little disappointing. Yes, I would have paid money to see it in the theater. Sad, but there it is.
The movie is supposed to be out sometime in January, and yes, it's already saved in my Netflix queue.
If you're a glutton for punishment like myself, or just morbidly curious, you can check out the trailer HERE.

I can't see spending $30k on this. If you had the money though, it would be pretty cool to have your own personal wine created for you. Here's the details from the press release:
Recession or not, hundreds of people are willing to spend approximately $30,000 for a single, personalized, blended bottle of Scotch whisky.
Kendall-Jackson winemaster Randy Ullom will better the Scots by a case: for $30,000 he will spend three days with a wine lover, doing extensive wine tastings with them, learning their preferences in wine, and creating an exact, customized blend based on their tastes and personality. After which the purchaser will receive a case of the one-of-a-kind wine, adorned with their own, personal label.
The idea was inspired by Whyte & Mackay Whisky’s success offering one-off whiskies by its master blender—all the more remarkable in these economic times.
“Evidently, there remains a strong niche for tailor-made luxury products,” said Ullom. “If there are hundreds of people willing to pay an ultra-premium price for a single bottle of customized whisky, then we will be happy to offer them 12 bottles of personalized wine.”
Ullom will have a broad palette from which to create a portrait of his customers’ tastes. With the grapes from scores of premiere lots, from thousands of acres of estate vineyards located along the hillsides and mountains of California’s cool coastal regions, Ullom can blend virtually any shade or nuance of taste within dozens of grape varieties. His portfolio of wines that are generally available to the public routinely score in the 90s.
“Those who are able to take advantage of his offer will have a wine that is unique in the world—as unique as they are,” said Ullom. “In addition, they will have a pretty good time as we explore and experiment.”
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity. Those interested in the program should email for more information at customWine@kjmail.com.

This is actually a 1/8th scale model. The model is incredibly detailed, down to the details on the dashboard.A little bit about the car's maker:

Superb attention to detail and using only the highest quality materials enable Amalgam to recreate the spirit of the original in every model they produce. From the authentic paints and finishes, to the faithfully reproduced decals and logos, to tread pattern of the tires, Amalgam Fine Model Cars adheres to rigorous and unyielding standards of excellence in their reproductions—each requiring approximately fifty hours to assemble.
There are four cars all together, a Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Reventon, Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, and a McLaren F1 LM (Le Mans). The cars are being sold by Neiman Marcus, and cost between $4,300 and $4,700.

I like the look of the bottle, and of course the name. It looks like it comes in at $25 a bottle, which isn't horrible. Drinkhacker.com has a review of it HERE, and says that it's smooth enough to drink solo. I might have to try and find a bottle soon, and give it a shot.
Here's the press release:
The Gin category has just gotten a heavy dose of sex appeal with the arrival of Ultra Premium BULLDOG London Dry Gin. Having launched auspiciously in the Chinese “Year of the Dog”, BULLDOG stands to be one of the proudest and most exciting newadditions to the spirits market. Quadruple distilled, BULLDOG carries an exotic mélange of botanical flavors, including licorice, lavender, lotus leaves, Poppy and Dragon Eye, giving it an incredibly seductive fruit and citrus bouquet.
Hand-crafted in London, BULLDOG is a London Dry Distilled Gin, infused with the taste and aromas of its selected botanicals, using traditional copper pot stills. As part of the process, gin is passed through a condenser and liquefied to produce the natural and unmistakable essence of this ultra-premium spirit. It exhibits a smooth and harmonious texture, with a distinctive flavor and
refreshingly crisp character. Said to boost skin vitality and promote sexual stamina, Dragon Eye – an ancient Chinese secret – is just one of the many uncommon elements in BULLDOG. With its smoked-grey tinting, broad shoulders and the iconic spiked collar around its neck, BULLDOG Gin is housed in an eye-catching bottle that is sure to improve the landscape of any bar or store.
BULLDOG Gin was founded by Anshuman Vohra, a former J.P. Morgan Investment Banker. The gin was engendered out of Vohra's quest to create the ultimate versions of his favorite cocktails, the Dirty Gin Martini and the Gin & Tonic. Says Vohra: "Being Indian, Gin is practically in my blood. Fortunate to have lived all over the world, I developed a palate for exotic flavors, so I wanted to make a gin that satisfied this desire for the unusual, but, of course, it had to improve upon my favorite cocktails.”
