Woodford Reserve Derby Bottle And Sweepstakes

Woodford Reserve has been the Official Bourbon of the Kentucky Derby for the past eleven years, and has created a special bottle for the 2009 event. The limited edition bottle features artwork by retired jockey Tom Chapman.

Chapman’s vibrant, colorful image captures the excitement and intensity of the Kentucky Derby as two jockeys in brightly-colored silks concentrate on the race with the historic Twin Spires of Churchill Downs in the background. The artist’s signature adorns the neck band of the bottle, and an attached tag bears information about the artist and product. The limited edition liter-size bottle will be available beginning in early April throughout the nation in 38 states.

The bottles are going for around $45.

Woodford Reserve is also holding a sweepstakes to send you and a guest to London, England to attend the Derby Festival at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

The Grand prize includes roundtrip coach airfare for two to London, England where the winner and guest will attend the Derby Festival at Epsom Downs Racecourse (black tie – tails and topcoat required) on June 6, 2009. The winner will also receive $1,000 for race attire (For men, a tuxedo and top hat are required.), $800 spending money, and a 4 days – 3 night stay at a London hotel.
