While my mainstay is either Jack or Vodka (normally Ketel One), I do like some gin. Here's the details of Blue Coat Gin, pulled from their website:
Bluecoat is an American Dry Gin, unique in flavor profile and unsurpassed in character, five times distilled in the birthplace of America – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Bluecoat American Dry Gin is craft distilled using organic juniper berries, giving it earthy, spicy juniper notes. When combined with a proprietary blend of organic American citrus peels and other organic botanicals, the result is a gin worthy of the term American Premium.
Bluecoat is distilled in a custom-built, hand-hammered copper pot still. A true batch distillation, the process calls for extremely slow heating of the pot, which allows for maximum separation of alcohols. Impurities are discarded, leaving only the purest, most flavorful alcohols. The result is a spirit that is intensely smooth and invigorating.
No additives and all natural, organic botanicals and batch distilled, Bluecoat American Dry Gin is a revolutionary spirit that is distinctive and superior in character.

The bench itself isn't really that impressive looking, but the functionality makes it well worth it (just not the price).
This leather storage bench has a side panel that opens to reveal storage drawers for all your billiard items. There's one drawer for your cue sticks and two drawers for your billiard balls. The bench also has two cue trays along the outside back of the bench.
From the pictures on the site, it looks like the bench may also come in black, and there are "other custom selections" that you can choose, but the site doesn't say what those are.
You can check out the other picture, and contact them for more information if you're interested in buying one, at their site HERE. It's a little disappointing though that the bench costs $3,380.

I might very well have a new favorite hangout in Vegas.
The Mirage is getting a new 2,000 square-foot cigar and rum bar named Rhumbar. The bar's location is the former old Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden gift shop. This puts it right by the stairwell and walkway extending upward from the Strip. From the Las Vegas Weekly article:
From 10 a.m. daily, Rhumbar aims to be the ideal spot for a cigar and espresso with your morning paper, shaded by palms, and looking out on either the city or on the Mirage's tangled jungle lagoon. In afternoon, refreshing drinks and even a walk-up daiquiri bar will refresh weary travelers. At night, high energy music takes over via a top of the line sound system, major sports events play on sizeable twin flat screen TVs and the patio affords a straight view to the newly renovated, iconic Mirage volcano.
You can read the whole Las Vegas Weekly article about Rhumbar, which has some pictures of the interior, HERE.

I watched both these fights tonight, and although neither of them were all that exciting, I'm hoping both wins sets up something good for these two fighters.
Cotto (33-1, 27 KO) won the vacant WBO welterweight title with a TKO of England's Michael Jennings (34-2, 16 KO). Jennings looked ok until the fourth round when he was knocked down twice. He survived the round, but the ref had to stop it in the fifth round after Jennings was again knocked down. Jennings just looked totally out matched, as Cotto seemed to have a very easy time of it.
It took Kelly Pavlik (35-1, 31 KO) nine rounds to defeat Marco Antonio Rubio (43-5-1, 37 KO). Rubio went into his corner after the ninth round, and never left, throwing in the towel. Pavlik was in control of the fight the whole time, except for maybe the 6th or 7th round, when Rubio tried to let loose a little. Rubio was hurt a few times, and by the end of the ninth, the writing was on the wall. Pavlik was either going to knock him out, or he would loose once it went to the cards. Rubio did show a good chin though.
There's nothing up just yet, but you should be able to hit East Side Boxing in the next day or two for some good breakdowns of the fights, and what might be next for both fighters.

From the Triumph site:
Triumph is celebrating 15 years of its most successful model with a distinctive new high-specification special edition of the 1050cc Speed Triple. The Speed Triple is so significant to Triumph, that company owner John Bloor has authorized use of his signature on the fuel tank for the very first time on the 15th Anniversary Special Edition.
Adding to the desirability of the new model, each buyer will receive an exclusive Speed Triple 15th Anniversary watch as a special gift. This high-quality timepiece will not be available to buy separately and is only available to purchasers of the bike.
Only 55 of the bikes will be made, but the price isn't completely outrageous, at around $12,000.
You can check out the news about the bike HERE, more pictures of the HERE, and spec page HERE.

Ok, first off, this is definitely not something you want to listen to while at work. Just because of the language in it. However, as soon as you get a chance, hit the link at the bottom, and watch the video from the single "I'm On A Boat". If you have any kind of sense of humor, you'll love it. Here's a little bit about the new album from Rolling Stone:
Saturday Night Live's golden boy Andy Samberg will be putting out a comedy album, titled Incredibad, next February, and you can expect it to be just as raunchy as "Dick In A Box" and "Jizz In My Pants." A slew of "real" musicians will join Samberg on the album, including T-Pain, Norah Jones, Jack Black, E-40, the Strokes' frontman Julian Casablancas and Justin Timberlake.
The album is a product of the three-man team known as the Lonely Island, comprised of Samberg and fellow SNL writers Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer.
You can read the rest of the article over at Rolling Stone HERE.
You can watch the video from "I'm On A Boat" HERE. (NSFW)
Also, in case you haven't seen it yet, you can also catch "Jizz In My Pants" HERE. (NSFW)
Also, you can get the CD from Amazon HERE.

You should always have some shot glasses around the house. Even if you don't think you're ever going to use them, it's just a good idea.
If you're looking for a cool set, these Animal themed shot glasses would be worth getting. Here's a little bit of info about them from the site:
Shot glasses for the passionate animal lover… or the avid hunter. Either way, the Animal Shot Glasses are made of black glass and balance atop the head of either a bear, bull, deer, moose or rhinoceros.
They're a little on the expensive side, at $54 for a set of two of them, but if you're interested you can buy a couple of them HERE.

This isn't the greatest picture of the car, but there's only teasers out so far, and this is as good as it gets. The Car actually has both it's doors open, which seem to go up and forward, which gives the car an odd look to it. Here's some details about it though, pulled from Motor Authority.
Fully conceived, designed and built in South Africa, the Barnard will be able to sprint from 0-100km/h (62mph) in less than four seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 300km/h (187mph).
The layout of the car’s chassis has been designed to resemble that of the original Porsche 962 and its choice of powerplant – a twin-turbocharged V8 – also comes from the famed German sports car manufacturer. Significantly altered and strengthened both internally and externally, the Porsche engine is rated at approximately 617hp (460kW) but that number could be upped significantly before production.
Development work on the Barnard is still being completed but first deliveries should start by the middle of the year, with pricing to fall around the $110,000 mark.
You can read the whole article, and see a couple more teaser pictures, over at Motor Authority HERE.
