The Verbarius Electronic Clock

This is one of those things that's just sort of cool.

It's basically a clock that tells you the time, rather than show you. It even changed things up a bit, in that the clock spells out time differently every minute: it’s either forty-five minutes past four, or fifteen minutes to five, or four forty-five, or a quarter to five.

It comes with five preloaded languages: Russian, English, German, Spanish and French, but you can upload others to it using the built in USB port.

I'm thinking someone need to take this a step further, and allow you to add in some customized sayings. Instead of saying "seven forty-five" it could say something more interesting like "you're late for work". Or better yet, instead of "four in the afternoon" it could just simply say "Happy Hour starts now".

The clock has a USB port for downloading new languages, requires a 110/220 V main power supply, and in case of power failure it has a backup battery.

The clock sells for about $211 USD, and you can buy one HERE.
