Miss America Las Vegas Contest
This is kind of an odd contest. It's actually pretty good overall, but I have no idea what it has to do with the Miss America contest. Anyway….
TLC is having a contest to send some lucky person and their guest to Las Vegas. The grand prize winner will receive roundtrip coach airfare for two to Las Vages, 3 days/2 nights double occupancy accommodations at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, ground transportation to and from a Las Vegas area airport, and Five Hundred Dollars ($500) spending money in the form of a check.
Not only that, but they're are two First Prizes consisting of: one 42" Flat Screen HDTV with "White Glove" delivery service.
Decent trip to Vegas, some cash in your pocket, and if you don't win the trip you still have a shot at one of two 42" HDTVs. Not bad.
Again though, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Miss America pageant, but as long as I'm in Vegas I really don't care.
