Reiter Engineering Offers Street Legal Murcielago R-GT Racecar
I've never been a fan of the whole yellow sportscar look, but this is still one beautiful car.
Reiter Engineering competes in the FIA GT1 and GT3 with it's Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT. Recently, they created a street legal version of their racecar.
The Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT was developed by Reiter Engineering and Audi, Lamborgini's parent company. The Murcielago R-GT is a highly competitive GT car for use in professional motorsport events. The R-GT's V12 engine develops identical peak power to the standard Lamborghini Murcielago (580hp) but the power is available over a wider rage. The other big difference is that the Murcielago R-GT is incredibly light weight at just 2425 lbs, making it 1212 lbs lighter than the standard model.
Reiter Engineering has stated however, that the street legal version is a one-off and not technically for sale. As with anything though, rumor has it that it can be had for the right amount of money.
