The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport
Bugatti has made their Veyron a convertible, and have designated it Grand Sport. The car will officially make it's entrance at the Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance where the first one will be auctioned off on August 17th. The expected starting price for the topless model is expected to be $2,250,000.
The car itself still has a little over 1000hp, and a top speed of 217mph. A few reports I've seen says that the structure of the car has been changed, which makes sense since it's a convertible, and I'm sure more details will come out about that as soon as the first one has sold. Being that it's the first one, and only a total of 80 will be made, I also expect that the auction might go well above the initial $2.25 million asking price.
You can see another picture of the car, and several of the regular Veyron, over at The Autoblog HERE.
