The Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series
Mercedes-Benz and its in-house tuner AMG have finally released first details and images for its extreme Black Series edition of the new SL65 AMG.
The new Mercedes supercar has a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 that puts out an impressive 661hp at 5,400 rpm and 738 lb-ft of torque. This means it actually has 20 more horsepower than Mercedes’ own SLR McLaren 722 edition supercar. With all that horsepower, the SL65 Black Series will accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 199mph. That speed will come with a hefty price tag though, with the car costing around $320,000.
