Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka
The Firefly Vodka Distillery is located on Wadmalaw Island, thirty miles South of Charleston, South Carolina. This Charleston based distillery grew from a locally known product to a nationally recognized brand. Their two current products are their Firefly Muscadine Wine Flavored Vodka, and the new Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka.
The Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka is an infusion of American Tea and Firefly Vodka, to make a nice smooth summer drink. At 70 proof though, it has a nice little kick to it. Currently it's only sold in South Carolina, Colorado, Nevada & New York, but they have plans to start shipping to Georgia, Tennessee and Florida on August 1st, and Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arizona on September 1st.
As usual, I still prefer my vodka in a strait up martini, but the tea angle sounds like it could be good on a warm night out on a patio somewhere. If you get a chance to try this product and like it, they are planning on coming out with several others soon, such as Firefly Hand Crafted Vodka, Firefly Peach Vodka and Firefly Coffee Vodka.
