I didn't get the fight, but it sounds like three things happened:
– The undercards were pretty good.
– Pacquiao held a boxing clinic on Diaz
– Pacquiao has set himslef up as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world.
James Slater over at East Side Boxing said this about the fight:
"Utterly dominating the game but out-classed David Diaz for almost every second of the nine rounds the fight lasted, "Pac-Man" put the finishing touches to his handiwork at just after the 2 minute mark of the 9th. A perfectly delivered short left hand to the head sent fellow southpaw Diaz face-first to the canvas and the fight was over. The official time was 2 minutes and 24 seconds of round nine."
You can read the rest of that article HERE. Pretty much everything I've read falls the same way, Pacquiao was just dominating, and Diaz just didn't have much of a chance. You can read another good article about the fight, with a little more on the undercards HERE.

I'm not sure why you would eve need one of these, but if you had the money to buy one, why the hell not?
The Terra Wind is an amphibious RV, meaning that it runs on both land and water. It goes from a land to water vehicle simply by driving it into the water, putting the road transmission into neutral, and engaging the marine transmission. Nothing else needs to be done.
The RV can go in both salt and fresh water, but is made more for lakes and rivers. It can take up to 3-foot waves, run in any depth of water, and also has outriggers that can be set up so that it can take up to 40mph winds while out on the water. The hull is 100% aluminum so it's not going to rust. The only steel parts are the suspension and axle components, and those parts are coated with the same protective marine coating used on cruise ships.
Normally something like this would leave out a lot of the amenities that a luxury RV would have, but that's not true here. The RV comes with a GPS Navigation System, All Leather Interior, Custom Teak Wood Cabinetry, Onboard Computer, 42" Plasma TV, 600 Watt Surround Stereo, an 8 Jet Whirlpool Tub, Marble Floors & Shower, Granite Countertops, Full Kitchen, Washer/Dryer, Digital "in motion" Satellite, and there's a 6 foot swim platform that folds out from the back deck so you can fish, layout, or dive/jump from there.
Obviously the Terra Wind isn't going to come cheap. The base model starts at $850,000 and goes up to $1.2 million. You can find out more about it, and check out some of their other amphibious vehicles, at the company site HERE.

Southwest has one of these about every third month or so, and they're actually getting better each time in what you can win.
This contest runs through July 31, 2008 and here's what you can win:
The Grand Prize consists of air fare on Southwest Airlines for two people on scheduled service from the airport nearest the winner's residence served by Southwest Airlines to Las Vegas, Nevada, four nights stay at the Bellagio (valid for midweek only), diner for two each night at the following restaurants: Circo (Bellagio-total value of $200), Gallagher's Steak House (NY-NY total value of $200), Shanghai Lilly (Mandalay Bay total value of $200), Andre's (Monte Carlo total value of $200); a gift card value of $1,000 to The Forum Shops, and a roundtrip airport/hotel limousine transportation.
No gambling money (which I always like) but pretty much everything else that you might want is in there. You can hit the Southwest site HERE and enter.

Since 70-inch TVs aren't all that rare, it was just a matter of time before someone took one and made it waterproof. This isn't an all weather TV you can leave outside though, this is more for putting one on a boat, or not worrying about someone splashing it next to the hot tub or pool.
The TV is an actual Samsung LCD and comes with everything you would expect such as 1080p, 15000:1 contrast ratio, and all the inputs and so on. The TV was made waterproof and being sold by MarineAV, and you can hit their site to check out the TV HERE.

I'm not sure if these will be popping up in a casino anytime soon, but you have to think someone will try it out.
The table itself uses a 56” touch sensitive LCD screen that has a 3840×2160 resolution. Using a patent pending technology, the screen can identify which of the players are responsible for which clicks. This lets up to seven people place their own bets, all at the same time.
The table keeps track of how much money the players have, automatically awards money if you win, let's you repeat your bets and generally makes the game go a lot faster. There's even a help function so players can learn the game. Another added feature that the casinos might like is the fact that you can connect several tables to a single wheel, which means you're going to have a faster game, with few people to run it.
You can read more about it on their site HERE.

This has the possibility to be a really good fight, though Pacquiao is changing weight divisions, and that traditionally give fighters some trouble. Here's the official run down of the fight:
Newly-crowned World Boxing Council (WBC) super featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao and WBC lightweight champion David Diaz will battle in a 12-round rumble with Diaz's title at stake. Promoted by Top Rank, in association with MP Promotions, Pacquiao vs. Diaz will take place Saturday, June 28, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT.
You can read about the last press conference over at East Side Boxing HERE.

Lamborghini's next V12 supercar will be all-wheel drive, and will focus on reducing it's overall weight. Reports state that the new V12 should be in the same league as the Ferrari Millechili concept, which weighs in at 2,200lb and gets 600hp out of it's V10.
Lamborghini's current owners have stated that a lightweight V12 supercar and a continuation of the Reventon design will be their main concerns for right now.

I would have really loved to have seen this contest to be for this years WSOP Main Event, but waiting a year won't kill me if I won.
Here's the deal, Platers is having a contest to send someone to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event. This is the biggest evet that they have every year, so not only do you get the trip, but also a chance to win millions. Not only is that probably one of the greatest contest prizes I've seen so far, but they're giving out for of them.
There will be a total of four grand prize winners, and each winner will receive a trip for two (winner and one guest) to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, NV. The trip consists of roundtrip, coach class air travel for two; 4 days/3 nights hotel accommodations; roundtrip ground transfers between airport/hotel; and the winner receives a seat to play in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event and $3,000 in spending money.
The event runs through October 31, 2008, so you have a lot of time to enter. Though it looks like you can also enter once per day, so I might have to make this contest my home page for a while. You can hit the contest page HERE to enter.
