Verizon’s LG Voyager
![]()
The Voyager is one of the newest contenders to the iPhone, and is set to hit the shelves in November. Normally whne anyone is taking on Apple these days, their products are just simple knockoffs, or just try to be the best of the rest. Not so with the Voyager that seems to be taking a good idea, and making it better.
The Voyager has a full touchscreen face on the outside, but also has a second screen on the clamshell interior, with a full QWERTY keyboard. The large dedicated keyboard is a nice touch if you're going to be using the phone for a lot of text messaging, or using email. The phone also comes able to connect to the high-speed EVDO wireless Web access on the 3G network, a fully enabled HTML Web browser, built-in 2-megapixel camera with video capture, 8 GB memory microSD expansion slot, V CAST Music, Video and Mobile TV, and plays MP3, WMA and unprotected AAC music files.
I'm sure there will be a lot more comparisons between this and the iPhone once they hit the market, but so far it looks like Verizon might have a good contender.
