Burn Notice
This is a little out of the ordinary for the site, but it's sounds like this new series might be fun. Plus, you really can't go wrong when you have Bruce Campbell in anything.
Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) has spent most of his life working as a spy. That was, until yesterday. You see, when a spy gets fired, he doesn't get a call from the lady in HR and a handshake. They burn him, cut him off, and make sure he can never work again. Bottom line, they froze his bank accounts, erased his security clearance, and left him out in the cold…in sunny Miami, the hometown of crime, drugs, plantains and thongs. Now, he's just trying to make a living while he figures out who wants him dead.
Michael is joined by Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) an ex-IRA operative, who also happens to be an ex-girlfriend; and Sam (Bruce Campbell), a washed-out military intelligence contact who's being used by the feds to keep tabs on Michael. He's also forced to confront the family he went halfway around the world to get away from – particularly his mother, Madeline (Sharon Gless) who couldn't be happier to have her son back in town.
Burn Notice premieres June 28th, with new episodes Thursdays at 10/9c on USA Network.
