Dan Aykroyd’s Winery
I'll try to refrain from making any Bass-O-Matic, Ghostbuster, or Blues Brother jokes.
Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits has announced that they are building The Dan Aykroyd Winery. The project is an ambitious $12-million, 45,000-square-foot winery that will be built off the QEW highway in Canada where the company's Birchwood Estate winery is currently located. The winery also plans to showcase some of Aykroyd's movie and television memorabilia. Groundbreaking is scheduled to begin this fall with the winery up and running for the fall 2008 harvest.
