Audi announced this car some months ago, but most of the details were yet to be decided. Autoblog is reporting that the new R8 will have a 420 hp V8 4.2L FSI engine and rear-biased quattro(R) all-wheel drive system, with a zero to 60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 187 mph, making the R8 is the fastest Audi ever produced. The lightweight aluminum frame and body and 44:56 front-to-rear weight distribution give the R8 tremendous handling capabilities, with the balance expected of a mid-engine sports car. Price starts at $109,000.
You can read more details about the car over at Autoblog HERE.

From the World Poker Tour site:
JC Tran, a poker tournament pro, has turned his numerous final table experiences during this fifth season of the World Poker Tour into a first place title!
During a conversation this afternoon with JC, he noted that the only thing that mattered was the title. He had an incredible level of drive accompanying him today, something that could be seen on his face during the final table as well… and it paid off. JC has won a coveted WPT title, and he can’t stop smiling.
Tran takes home $683,473 for his win. You can read all the details, and some interviews with Tran and the runner up over at the WPT site HERE.

Oh, the things you can buy when you're a billionaire. This article, on what will be the world's biggest yacht, is from Spluch:
Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire is getting himself a new yacht. It will be the largest privately owned yacht in the world.
The Eclipse, currently taking shape in a shipyard in Hamburg, Germany, is expected to boast two helicopter landing pads, three launches, several hot tubs, a private cinema, a swimming pool and a submarine. It will require a crew of at least 50. Some of these features appear on the yachts of other billionaires, but the size of the Eclipse is unprecedented. Informed sources say it will be 550ft long — edging out what is currently the world’s biggest yacht, Dubai, the 525ft floating pleasure palace, owned by Sheikh Maktoum, the emirate’s ruler.
The Eclipse is expected to carry a miniature submarine, which could be an escape vehicle for Abramovich and his wife Irina in the event of onboard danger.
No idea of the actual cost of the boat, but when you're talking about something like this, the old saying "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" is certainly true.
For more info on the boat, you can also read the Times Online article HERE.

This is only a design concept, but from it's popularity already around the web, it's possible that you might be able to buy one in the next year or so. From the designer:
Imagine a furniture to wear… then dress it with an innovator design, intense colors, ergonomics and technology appeal. Like in fashion, the point is to unify beauty, comfort, and functionality. Whether your desire is to watch TV or DVD, listen to your favorite CD, read, talk on the phone, or even study, take a nap or browse the internet, you got it close, in a multifunctional chaise-longue. This concept is inspired by the values and personality of a today's teenager and the standards generated by a global hi-tech culture of facilities, where the access to technology is cheap and easy.
You can see a couple of better pictures of the chaise-lounge at DesignBoom HERE.
