Best 15 Bond Gadgets

Popular Science has created their own list of the best 15 James Bond gadgets of all time. From the article:

"From 007’s jetpack in Thunderball to his iconic laser-equipped Omega watch, the James Bond movie franchise has always had its finger on the pulse of its audience’s gadget lust. We at PopSci were a bit disappointed at the dearth of gizmos in this year’s Casino Royale (which for some reason—cha-ching—were mostly made by Sony), but our discussion about the current film sparked a debate in the office about spy gear from Bond films past. Which was the sexiest weapon? (The venom boots in From Russia With Love.) The best vehicle? (Depends whether you want your car to swim or fly.) The deadliest accessory? (Gotta be that briefcase.) In the end, we compiled a list of our 15 favorite Bond gadgets of all time."

You can view the list HERE

The Hyanide concept motorcycle

Only a concept vehicle at the moment, the Hyanide impressed the crowd at the 2006 Michelin Challenge Design show.

The Hyanide is designed to run on a flexible rubber tread which runs along the machine’s entire underside. So if any part of the bottom is touching the ground, the Hyanide should be able to move no matter what the terrain is. The tank-like tread consists of 77 identical segments which flexes independently to not help with traction, but it would also allow the motorcycle amazing cornering ability.

To read more about the concept vehicle and see a 3D model, head over to the Popular Science site HERE.

Twist Martini Shaker

Not only does it have a unique look, but it also some hidden attributes as well. The shaker is made of Namb metal that retains the cold three times better than other metals. This means that you take it out of the freezer and pour several chilled martinis without having to use ice. The shaker has an integrated strainer, and will never tarnish, crack, chip or peel.

Read more about it, or buy one, at the Hammacher Schlemmer site HERE.
