One of SpeedTV's most popular shows is Pinks. The idea is simple, two contestants race their cars in a best three out of five drag race. The loser of the races hands over the title of their car (the pink slip) to the winner.
You can read more about the show, check out some video, and read about the match-ups at the SpeedTV.com site HERE.

Icehouse beer, along with Maxim Magazine, is giving away 100 prizes, one per day, for 100 days (in case you couldn't do the math yourself).
Prizes range from a Maxim subscription, all the way up to shopping sprees, and 46-inch flat panel TVs. Since the prizes are given out daily, you'll have to keep going back to the site to enter, but it's a small price to pay if you win your own Golden Tee golf game.
You can enter the contest at the Ichouse.com site HERE.

The 650-horsepower (400 lb.-ft. of torque) Leno original is powered by a Honeywell LT-101 turbine engine that runs on bio-diesel fuel. The engine sits in a modified Corvette Z06 hydroformed aluminum frame with aluminum and magnesium structural and chassis components. The vehicle's shell is an advanced construction of carbon fiber over Kevlar. (from GM press release).
All of that, and apparently the the original idea was first sketched on a few napkins. You can read more about the car, and more pictures, over at Jalopnik.com site HERE.

Feature Weapons is dedicated to new military hardware, and is in it's second season on the Discovery Channel. The new episodes are airing on Sundays, but if you've never seen the show and love to watch things blowing up, it's worth catching the reruns of older shows.
Every week the host Mack Richard "Mack" Machowicz gives you a hands on look at some of the newest weapons the military is using, and of course weapons in development that haven't yet made it into the field. For an idea of what they have covered, you can check out their two season guides on the website HERE.
The site has weapon guides, video clips from the show, and even some of the promotional videos from the companies that make the weapons. Plus a background on Mack, episode guides, message board, downloads, and even games.

Pandora is a "music discovery service". The idea is that you tell them your favorite songs or artists and they'll stream songs to your computer that are similar. The music they send you doesn't rely on what's popular, or what genre it's from, they work to hopefully send you music you'll love. Over time, you can give the site feed back (like or don't like) for better results.
The service is free if you don't mind the ads, or just $36 a year to be commercial free. You can find out more on the site HERE.

If you've followed poker at all, then you should know who Gus Hanson is. Like all celebrities these days, Gus has his own website. If you enjoy poker, it's worth hitting the site and looking through the "Tips from the Pros" section (via Full Tilt Poker, that I'm sure set up this site for Mr. Hanson) and also the blog section which looks like it gets updated every week or two.
You can see the site HERE.
